For once and without setting a precedent, this post will be written in English 😛
(so sorry for all the mistakes I’ll probably make)
Thinking in New Zealand is thinking of Pippa, Rod and the kids… who I consider family. So when we decided to visit that country, I immediately thought of a knitting project for Pippa.
She has deep blue eyes so the colour was easy to decide.
The material was quite clear too. I wanted a superwash yarn and a high quality one so Mechita by Malabrigo would be perfect.
The pattern, as usual, was the hardest part. Too many patterns to knit and just one to be chosen. A friend of mine, Isabel, knitted this shawl last year and I fell in love with it. So, why not? It was going to be gorgeous in that blue.
A month later the shawl was ready to travel with us to its new home.
She is beautiful and her new shawl looks amazing on her, doesn’t it??
I hope she loves wearing this shawl as much as I loved knitting it.
